We gather to receive from God so that we can grow in him and give our lives in service to others.
What can you expect?
As you arrive at one of our locations you’ll be welcomed by a greeter. They will gladly answer any questions you may have.
You’re invited to take a seat just before the service start time. Each week you can expect a spoken order, with either band or organ music. Holy Communion is celebrated regularly.
Children are precious gifts from God and are encouraged to participate in all of our gatherings: singing, listening to Bible stories and receiving a blessing. We also provide Bible books, activity sheets and pencil cases that you can collect as you enter.
God is active during our gatherings: he calls us into his presence; he declares our sins forgiven; he speaks his word into our lives; he feeds us at his table through holy communion; he sends us into the world to love him and our neighbours. We gather to receive from God so that we can grow in him and give our lives in service to others.
About Lutherans
The Lutheran Church is the largest Protestant denomination in the world, with over 80 million people identifying as Lutheran. Naracoorte Lutheran Parish is one of 360 congregations in the Lutheran Church of Australia. Our churchwide mission is to be a place where love comes to life. We believe that God's love is for everyone everywhere and we want you to see how his love comes to life in us – and in you.
